Mother-Father God in Heaven

and on earth and in our lives and in mine,

all the names You have chosen to be called are Holy.

Your Kingdom is coming

and Your Kingdom is here, already!

In Us!

Help me to figure that out

and how to live that way…

May Your will be done on earth

as it is in Heaven and the heavens.

And in my life.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Forgive me for the hurt I’ve caused

as You and I forgive those who have hurt me.

Help me to square my debts

through prudence and frugality

and the occasional

lemon cake topped with raspberry ice-cream

and a cruise to no where once in a while

with my wife, Nancy,

even as I continue to be able to help those in need

and those who do worthy work.

Since this is Your Kingdom

and You have the power to sustain it and us,

I pray these things to You:

May

the direction of the journey of my soul,

the meditation of my mind

the words from my heart

and the health and fitness of my body

be acceptable to You

and according to Your will

and may Nancy and I hear,

when we come to the end of our journey here,

“Well done, Children!

Enter in to the joys of eternal life!”

And may we find our home in Your House

forever.
