When you tell time,
what time it is right now,
do you say
how many minutes it is after
what the last hour was
or how many minutes it is before
what the next hour is gonna be?
11:45 and 15-minutes-till-Noon
are the exact same instant,
but, each way of saying discloses a whole
different attitude about life!
Do we look back and think about what happened since then,
or forward to what might happen before?
