At the center of the soul of the universe –

is a place of peace and love.

To recreate that place, that peace, that love,

to re-memorialize it in the old meaning of that word,

is to re-participate in it,

(Like remembering the Sabbath is to re-participate in creation

by re-creating Eden in your world)

So, create a circle of love and peace

by taking the hands of those you love

and your buddy in the gym

and your co-worker on the job

and the stranger you pass on the sidewalk

or your neighbor by your back fence

or, when you have become brave enough,

the hand of your enemy on the street

or the Marine or the Guardsman in your city…

All together.

To create a circle of calm, cool, peace

in the fiery atmosphere of our world.

If only for a few moments.

Sustain it.

Then repeat.

The next day, perhaps?

Or the next hour?

Praying with all those there

to whatever god you believe in.

Even if your God is, simply, Love.

Recreate.

Sustain.

Repeat.

costs nothing.

It is merely the price we pay for air.
