We don’t all live on the dark side of the moon.
Some dwell in mountain shadows there,
but just in sight of the glimmers of light on the horizon.
Some abide on its sparkling edge.
Some have rushed across the border between day and night,
suffering singed eyes for the sake of bright illumination
But,
most have chosen the comfortable habitation of darkness
where congruent lunar rotation and revolution
create a balance of perpetual light-less-ness
where stubborn surety and pristine ignorance mate
to conceive a constant continuation
of cherished misconception and lies.
