Not for nothing was Theology proclaimed

“The Queen of Sciences”.

Not lately, of course.

Not in our hyper-scientific-materialistic-

rational-rat-race-era-of-lauded-reason.

(Not to be sarcastic, but look where that’s got us!)

But, why wouldn’t it be?

Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy

draw their findings and advances

from that which already was,

simply needing to be uncovered.

The theologian, the preacher, the believer,

the saint

posit known from unknowable,

from the invisible, untouchable,

silent, unrecognized reality

way beyond us and our physical world.

They live in the Spirit realm

where anecdote counts as evidence,

faith creates substance,

revelation proves what is real.

Where more than matter, matters

and Soul is the quantum leap.

And the idea that there is,

“Nothing out there but chalk.” *

is merely a scientific assumption.
