657 Caught From Behind 2-18-17 (go to 580 for key word search)

The Faith I left behind was not reduced to rubble,
but streamlined, having sloughed off
all the iron filagree irrelevant to salvation.
It did not sulk in a distant past,
rather, using its new shape and stealth,
sped, unseen, ahead of me,
as I wandered my meandering path.
Then, on some dusty road to Emaeus,
it simply appeared before me, smiling,
arms opened, the waiting father, stronger now,
carrying a lighter Spirit weight,
using loves magnetic tug
to pull me along.

I am still on journey,
but, now, have as companion,
a fellow traveler,
a lean and hungry faith
to lead me Home.
