529 Yes, Kill the Mockingbird May 30, 2014

Atticus warned us.
It is a sin, their beautiful songs and so on…

But what about theft?

Pirating the robins tune, the wrens, the cardinals.
The white suited lawyer should have known better.
What original opus has that thieving bird produced?
He is the con man of the aviary,
mimic of masters with nothing his own.

Shoot him, Jem!

Blast him from the roof top, guilty of theft.
Or worse, the sin of sloth,
laziness in the face of composing his own melody!
