430 There are no inanimate objects Nov.,’11

Do not take lightly
affection
towards the inanimate.
Who knows how far a
soft touch of gratitude
on the hard hood of a Honda
might go in the next
snowy nights journey?
Hand washing little Gillians
threadbare teddy bear
might stave off gremlins
on a night you slept to sound.
A fairy doll,for muse,
hung from your desk lamp,
offered a tender caress
might just get the blood
flowing through your pen
again.
