420 New York rain Aug. 6, 2011

A rancher is Texas would sell his soul
for the rain drenching our New York lake.
The run-off alone would be cherished.
But profligate Nature never learned to balance.
She gives us her best along with Her worst,
but does not care which is blessing, which, curse.
So beware what you pray for, or on what game you bet.
If Nature is dealing, all pay the debt.
