396 Moonlight on snow Feb. 20, 2011

Dark tree shadow on moon glow snow,
a midnights full moon is but a
ricochet of the suns light
from the other side of earth,
like a buddha or a christ,
blurred mirror epiphany
of progressive divinity,
worshiped, revered, beloved,
but just a dim, fractured reflection
of what is beyond us, to great to know,
chromatic splinters of a God as
hidden as the dark side of the moon.
