236 Thaw

A sunrise February warming.
I’m emerging from a moon lit
snow drift woods.
Awed to see
a spirit in a tree
stretch to unkink cramped muscle,
crack old joints,
get the blood pumping again.
Branch rubs branch in a morning breeze,
March warming, awaiting rennisance
in an April bud.
