The burning bush of Sinai
was not consumed,
but did it scream?
Did Gods Fires horrid heat
brand the bush?
Was it sanctified in agony?
Did it burn like Hell?
Pity poor damned souls
who writhe in Hells
everlasting fires.
Imagine the fortunate bush
drowned in finite flame
so Moses might see the God
he could not name.
