Constructiton zone on the Interstate
destroys a cosmos in a frog pond,
leaves a bone yard,
tree stumps, muddied water, root mounds.
Natures hush,
sacrificed to mans
ruch home to watch,
on The Nature Channel,
the plight of the
endangered honey bee,
manatee
and me.
